Meet
Dr. Krystle Balduzzi
Hi! I'm Dr. Krystle Balduzzi — a board-certified pediatrician with a passion for my community. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, IBCLC, and a certified Sleep Consultant.
I grew up in small-town Hamilton, Montana. Growing up I always dreamt of being a baby doctor (or an astronaut at NASA).
I was an avid athlete playing every sport offered at my high school. I first traveled to Stockton on an athletic and academic scholarship to play softball at the University of the Pacific. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in both BioEngineering & Applied Mathematics.
I was accepted into New York Medical College for medical school, graduating in 2010. It was in medical school that I met Mr. Dr. Balduzzi. Together we traveled to the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where I completed my pediatric residency training in 2013. After residency, I remained in Tampa and worked in a small private practice. On my nights and weekends, I worked at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Emergency Room.
Once my husband completed his Allergy-Immunology Fellowship my goal of returning to Stockton came to be. (The initial goal was that I was to be an allergist but during my pediatrics training I realized that I had found my heart with the littles and every day became a dream)
Once returning to Stockton, I worked at Sutter Gould Pediatrics for 5 years. There, I was Section Chief of Pediatrics and advanced pediatric care and community outreach. I wrote educational articles and provided lectures to the Sutter community. I built a reputation as a thorough and thoughtful clinician who goes above and beyond for children and their families.
Mr. Dr. Balduzzi and I have two daughters, ages 10 and 8. Our first daughter was born prematurely at 29 weeks, so my premie patients have a special place in my heart. Mr. Dr. Balduzzi is a local Allergist at Allergy, Immunology and Asthma Medical Group. We are proud to call Stockton our home.
I am very engaged in community outreach, teaching at local elementary, junior and high schools on various topics affecting our youth. In addition, I teach SafeSitter and Safe@Home courses.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, organizing and being with my family. I love returning home to Montana but also love taking the family to Tahoe skiing.
